Tell us about yourself! What’s your background and what do you do?
The three of us have been in the restaurant and bar business for many hundreds of moons, we enjoy spending time together (and apart) curating creative recipes. We use our passion for food to create spice blends that can be used to make your own incredible dishes with ease.
How did you learn your craft? Tell us about your first finished product.
We've spent years of trial and error, cooking for friends and family, finding obscure foods and turning them into easy recipes. We are constantly exploring and researching new ideas to add to our spice rack. Our spice blends are Vegan and Gluten Free so that you can create your own globally inspired dishes no matter what your dietary preference.

Where does the name of your business come from?
We think The Munching Box is a charming name that incorporates eating delectable foods and ties in with the subscription box aspect of our business.
How long does it take to make your product and what’s involved in the process?
From conception to final product ranges from weeks to months, however, once we've agreed on our final recipe then we mix our small batches by hand, label and stamp our compostable bags, fill them with the goodness, vacuum seal the bags and then they're ready for your enjoyment!
Where does your inspiration come from?
We are inspired by those incredible meals from our favorite local chefs and restaurants as well as from the culinary delights we get to experience in our travels abroad.
What’s your favorite product that you’ve created?
Each of us have a different favorite piece; Roxane's is the herbaceous Chimichurri, Marie's is the versatile Berbere and Dede's is the bold Bloody Mary.
What question do you get asked the most at pop-up markets?
"Is it really that easy?”
What’s something unique about you that most people don’t know (or wouldn’t guess)?
We can be surprisingly shy.
What’s your favorite beverage to sip on?
We can all agree on a Rhubarb Margarita.
